Get clack

    Cyanotype

Play to start a sample agent

    How it works[01]

Something to clack instead of scrolling.

Back to work the moment your agent is done: something for your hands while you wait, then a clear sign to go back. Here it is in the browser extension's side panel, waiting with claude.ai.

    1. 01

      Start a wait

Click clack's ring in your browser's toolbar and it opens in the side panel, beside claude.ai or ChatGPT. Send a prompt, and clack wakes up as the answer starts.

    2. 02

      Play

Crumple, pop, shave. No score and no streak, so nothing keeps you here.

    3. 03

      Go back

When the answer is done, the picture fades to grey and the sound stops, even if you keep playing. That's your cue. Click back into the chat to read it, and when you come back, clack shows how quickly you went.

Try it now: the material at the top of the page is clack itself, and playing it starts a sample agent that's done in a few seconds, so you can feel clack let go.

    Get clack[02]

    Pick where it lives.

Try it right here with nothing to install. To use it with your own chats, add it to your browser: it sits in the side panel beside claude.ai or ChatGPT and waits with them.

    Web version

    Agent
    A sample, to try it
    Runs on
    Any browser, phones too
    Setup
    None

All ten materials, full screen, on a laptop or a phone. Playing starts a sample agent that's done in a few seconds, so you can feel clack let go. A web page can't see your other tabs, so to wait with your own chats, add the extension.

To keep it as an app with its own window: in Chrome or Edge, click the install icon in the address bar; in Safari, choose File › Add to Dock; on a phone, choose Add to Home Screen.

    Browser extension

    Agent
    Yours, on claude.ai or ChatGPT
    Runs on
    Chrome, Edge or Brave
    Setup
Download, then load it by hand

Opens clack in your browser's side panel and follows claude.ai and ChatGPT: when one starts writing an answer, clack wakes up, and when the answer is done, the picture fades to grey and the sound stops, so you go back and read it. It isn't in the Chrome Web Store, so you add it by hand.

On a phone or tablet? The extension needs Chrome, Edge or Brave on a computer, so open this page there to add it. Until then, the web version plays right here.

    1. Unzip the download. You'll get a clack-extension folder.
    2. Open chrome://extensions and turn on Developer mode.
    3. Click Load unpacked and choose the clack-extension folder.
    4. Pin clack from the puzzle-piece menu, open claude.ai or ChatGPT and click clack's ring: clack opens in the side panel and waits for the next answer.
